Spinal Base Therapy
Gentle Approach to Relieve Pain and Spinal Blockages
Spinal Base Therapy – also known as Wirbelsäulen-Basis-Ausgleich (WBA) – is a manual treatment method that combines massage techniques, mobilization and energy balancing.
Its goal is to correct postural imbalances, address muscular asymmetries, and restore the body’s natural structural balance.
The method was developed in the 1980s by Swiss therapist Rolf Ott. It incorporates elements of acupoint massage, dynamic spinal techniques, and spiral dynamic muscle chain training.
Special attention is given to the position of the sacrum and pelvis, which play a key role in the spine’s alignment. Through targeted manual techniques, auricular acupuncture, postural training, and energetic stimulation, blockages are released and the body’s energy flow is promoted.
This holistic therapy not only supports physical mobility but also has a positive effect on the autonomic nervous system and overall well-being.
